The Need
“The Only Way to do Great Work is to Love What you Do. If You Haven’t Found it
Yet, Keep Looking. Don’t Settle.” – Steve Jobs.
Today we are in a world where many study and career options exist, which can lead to confusion. A
‘Assessment’ therefore helps you to first understand your interests and capabilities and then
match those with the myriad study and career options available.
Career Coaching and Counselling in a language most comfortable to you
will enable you to understand your aptitude, personality and interests and recommend the most
probable ‘Career Pathways’ you may want to consider.
Even schools and colleges can use these services to guide their students
to make the most appropriate and relevant decision.
The Relevance
“The Future Depends on What You do Today” - Mahatma Gandhi.
The Career
Assessment is tracking all the new and upcoming career options and thus gives relevant and
matched ‘Career Pathways’ for your consideration and selection. The ‘World of Work’ is evolving
rapidly and there are newer pathways evolving. While some of the older options are being recast, the
contemporary world is changing fast and Careers And Me helps you keep
abreast of these changes.
The Careers And Me App
(email us for a web app trial)
The Careers And Me app will first test your aptitude in the following areas:
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Logical Aptitude
- Spatial Aptitude
Then it will take you through a Personality and Interest
Inventory.
A combination of your Aptitude scores
and Personality and Interest inventory will suggest the ‘High Probability Career Pathways’ most
suited for you. You can then take a decision regarding the study and career option that will be the
most suitable for you.
We would advise you to
also meet some people who have done a similar kind of study or are pursuing a similar career option.
Try and understand the kind of study and work that they are doing and what are the typical
circumstances and actual work needed to be done. This will help you to arrive at a decision by
correctly gauging the situation without any unnecessary positive or negative overtones.
